Black Friday Thank You Cards for Shop Orders

Every template has a headline, a message and a bottom line for the shop name or web address; the order cards add a next-order line for the code and its expiry, and most cards carry a logo slot or a product photo slot. Pick the group that fits the order, type over the sample text, and the card redraws as you type.

• Black Friday order (7 designs): a thank-you plus a dated Christmas code, for buyers who ordered during the sale.
• Cyber Monday order (4 designs): the same card in cooler colours for orders that came in on Monday.
• Small-shop thanks (5 designs): a thank-you with no offer at all, in hot pink, black, white, cream or kraft paper; the white card doubles as the neutral version for December orders.
• Gift order (5 designs): a card addressed to the recipient with no amounts, discount, code or order details, for orders shipped straight to the person receiving the gift.

A Black Friday buyer already trusts the shop, and Christmas shopping starts a few weeks later. A dated code on the card gives them a reason to come back while they still remember the parcel.

1. Set the code up first. Create it in your Etsy Shop Manager or Shopify admin with the eligible items, any minimum spend and an end date, and try it once at checkout with an eligible item and once with an excluded one.
2. Print the expiry in plain words. "Valid through December 14, 2026" on the next-order line; a code with no end date reads as an open promise.
3. Leave the line empty if nothing is active. A plain thank-you is better than a code that fails, and the small-shop templates are built for exactly that.

A buyer thinking about a second order needs to know when it will arrive, so put the answer on the card's bottom line. For delivery by December 25 within the contiguous U.S., USPS lists these 2026 send-by dates: December 17 for Ground Advantage and First-Class Mail, December 18 for Priority Mail and December 19 for Priority Mail Express; Alaska, Hawaii, military and international mail have their own dates. Subtract your processing time from the send-by date of the service you use: a shop that ships Ground Advantage and needs three days to make and pack prints "Order by December 14 for Christmas delivery in the contiguous U.S." and keeps a day of margin.

A short web address is the simplest next step on a card: type your shop address into the message or the bottom line, such as "See our Christmas pieces at [shop URL]", and keep it short enough to read at arm's length. For an Etsy order, give your Etsy shop address, because Etsy's Off-Platform Transactions Policy prohibits steering Etsy buyers to purchase off Etsy; do not tie a discount to a review either. For a Shopify or own-site order, your own shop address or a repeat-order page works.

A referral ask fits the same space and stays low-pressure: "Know someone who would love this? Share our shop: [shop URL]." Mention a reward only if your shop has referral terms and the card states them.

1. Pick a template and type your words. Every line on the card has its own field; a line that runs long shrinks to fit before it wraps. Switch to Back to fill in the note side: lines to write on or a typed message, the next-order code and your web address.
2. Download. PNG or JPG gives one card at its print size (1050 × 1500 px for 3.5 × 5 in) with 300 dpi set in the file, and the back as its own PNG; Print PDF lays the cards on a Letter or A4 sheet with cut lines and the backs mirrored on page 2: four 3.5 × 5 in cards, two 4 × 6 in cards, or eight 3.5 × 2 in cards on Letter and nine on A4; zip gives the PNG and both PDFs.
3. Print one sheet at 100% / Actual Size first. Check the trim, the small text and the code, then print the batch on card stock, duplex if your printer has it, flipping on the long edge. For a gift order, print the gift template and keep the code on the buyer's version only.
