White background rules for Amazon, Etsy, eBay and Shopify
- Amazon main image: the background must be pure white, RGB 255, 255, 255, and the product should fill at least 85% of the frame. Images larger than 1000 px on each side can be zoomed. sell.amazon.com/blog/product-photos

Why does a white-looking background still fail?
A background at RGB 245 looks white on screen but isn't pure white, and Amazon's main-image check reads the pixel values. Shelfcanvas exports exactly 255, so the background is white by the number, not just by eye.
